Suddenly appeared an error message – the new ride Mechanica Liseberg had problems and was stopped on Sunday. After starting it up again occurred a second stop.
– What I understood they drove a ride, and they got to stay again, says park manager Mats Andersson.
The original jam occurred shortly before 13 o’clock on Sunday.
– We went one lap only, and then began to go slowly downhill and we were seated in the quarter approximately, says park visitor Tobias Coster.
Mechanica was full at the stop, according to him, and it was a 50 minute queue at the time.
– As we were emptying the queues and then we had to come off eventually, says Mr Coster.
The ride was shut down and technicians were summoned . According to Mats Andersson was preceded stop to it popped up an error message.
After the technicians examined Mechanica started up again with the visitors, but the ride did not last long. At around 13:30 pm was halted again.
What the error is due to Mats Andersson does not answer. When Mechanica can run again is unclear.
