A man found dead in his home in Malmberget last night.
The circumstances surrounding the death allows police have launched a preliminary investigation of murder.
The police on Tuesday a technical study on the spot where the man born in 1979 was found.
– There were circumstances that made that one could not rule out the crime. When we are not clear to us how it happened so we chose to initiate a preliminary investigation regarding the murder, says Kristina Lantto, communications officer at the police in Norrbotten.
The police are now waiting for the technicians assessment and then take a decision on the criminal investigation should be continued or whether there are natural causes of death.
– I hope that the day will get some answers and then we will submit new information, says Kristina Lantto.
Waiting for autopsy
In the afternoon, the police announced that the investigation will continue. The man is sent on the autopsy and it is estimated that the answer comes at the end of this week or early next week.
