With less than a month to go until the launch of Intel’s Haswell architecture so it begins inevitably leak news regarding partner manufacturers associated motherboard. Most recently, the Taiwanese ASRock.
ASRock is working hard on upcoming Haswell and the associated 1150 socket, the Chinese hardware site VR-Zone has listed some models from the upcoming line-up. From what we can read in the current situation so begins the series with all six “Extreme” branded cards, followed by three models with overclocking as primary (OC). The whole concludes with two models that are included in the company’s “Fatal1ty” series in collaboration with the old Quake legend.
ASRock OC Formula cards are targeted at overclockers who want to push the boundaries with their processors. Motherboards equipped with powerful volt regulators (VRM) and enhanced power supply to be able to use up to four PCI-E cables for the cards that support this. In addition to the inclusion of an M-ATX model in the series, we find also that the supposed top model, the Z87 OC Formula also uses active cooling.
A much appreciated feature is that ASRock equipped their new motherboards with high-performance network engaged 802.11 AC standard. Besides plenty of expansion slots and connectors on the I / O panel, certain models also equipped with Intel thunderbolt.
