After a review process which lasted for more than six months, Intel has named Brian Krzanich as new CEO of the company. He is replacing Paul Otellini officially pass the baton at the annual general meeting on May 16
class=”paragraphIntro”> Paul Otellini announced on November 20 that he will retire in May after 38 years Intel, of which the last eight years as the company’s CEO.
– After a careful and thoughtful selection process, the Board glad Brian Krzanich will lead the next generation Intel technologies that will shape the future of computing, says Intel Chairman Andy Bryant in a statement.
52-year-old Brian Krzanich in his present role as Chief Operating Officer and has worked at Intel for 31 years. After graduation, he started directly as a process engineer at Intel and has over the years worked his way up to the top.
– I see forward to working with our management team and employees worldwide and take Intel to the next era as we move into an era of mobile products, said Brian Krzanich in a prepared statement (pronounced ker-san-itch).Intel’s share stood unchanged at yesterday’s post-trade.
